Sesame Cookies
Ingredients:
1 1⁄4 cups almond flour
1⁄4 teaspoon celtic sea salt
1⁄2 teaspoon baking soda
1⁄3 cup maple syrup
1⁄2 cup tahini
1 tablespoon coconut or macadamia oil
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1⁄4 cup sesame seeds
Method:
In a large bowl, combine almond flour, salt and baking sodaIn a smaller bowl, blend together maple syrup, tahini, oil and vanilla
Blend the dry ingredients into the wet
Form the dough into approx 2cm diameter balls and roll in the sesame seeds
Place on a baking paper
Place another sheet of baking paper on top and flatten
Bake at 180° for 8-10 minutes until lightly brown
Cool on rack
Enjoy!
Makes about 14 cookies
